Hey – I’m Jason Shen. Thanks for dropping by. You’ve stumbled onto a site I started back when I was in college and have since discontinued posting on.

Hi Jason. I have been reading your entries and find them quite fascinating. I’d love to chat with you in person if you’re interested. I’ll be in town this August. Maybe we can meet up. (This e-mail is the correct address – ignore the other one).
Dear Jason,
I am so proud of you. You give me hope. You make me smile.
I was just telling your father that you impressed me from the very first time that I met you. You couldn’t have been more than four or five, and you gave me a greeting that I will never forget. I could feel the great warmth and deepth of your soul even then.
Please consider me as a member of your team dedicated to saving the world. You are a leader that I can trust and will be happy to follow.
I wish you continued goodwill, good health, good fortune, and much peace and love.
Uncle Marion
ps Thank you for your first book and the wonderful note to me. It made me very happy.
Dear Jason,
I was so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope that your recovery is speedy and without complications.
Don’t be discouraged. As the song goes, “We fall down. But, we get up again.”
You are in my thoughts.

Ooh, Stanford? My English teacher was pushing me to go there, but I’ve heard they have something called “standards.”
“Pessimists don’t save the world, they just complain about it.” Not true; I’m one of the biggest pessimists you’ll ever meet, but I think the world is open to being saved.
I was arguing with a friend the other day about this: He said dreamers were pointless and idiotic. I can’t help but think that every great idea, every revolution, had a dreamer standing behind it. Not necessarily an optimist; just somebody crazy enough to think that change is possible.
you are a complete idiot. your blog is boring and quite honestly put me to sleep
you rresponse to ian ybarra’s blog was the stupidest thing i’ve ever seen EVER
Hi Jason,
This is a link to a an episode from my favorite the radio program, “This American Life”. There is a segment on ethics and the brain. I believe you will like it.
