It is obvious that there are a lot things wrong with the world today.
- Global Warming
- Energy Shortage
- Worldwide violence
- Over-consumption/population
- Huge Disparities between Rich and Poor
- Indifference/Apathy
But I believe the two most important problems are:
The overconsumption and improper usage of Earth’s natural resources – decreasing humanity’s ability to survive.
The crushing poverty that kills 29,000 children under five, daily (fact) – keeping humanity’ from thriving.
In a nutshell I think what the world needs is more:
- Science (technological breakthroughs, basic research)
- Education (basic education for all people, less misinformation on critical issues)
- Compassion (caring more about all people, not just those close to us, or of our race, religion, etc)
- Drive (Sitting at a desk and nodding does nothing, it takes work to make things happen!)

How about lack of information or worse, misinformation, about these vital topics our society needs to address?
